Short answer
Raftervio.site designs and builds websites for roofing contractors in the United States, and publishes free guides on the rules and decisions behind a roofing website. We focus on one trade, write plainly, cite our sources and do not sell guaranteed rankings, fake reviews or doorway pages.
What Raftervio is
Raftervio.site is a specialist web design and development service for roofing contractors: residential re-roofers, repair specialists, commercial flat-roof firms and companies that do a mix. We plan, design, write and build websites, and we publish guides on the online rules that affect roofing companies.
We chose one trade on purpose. Roofing has its own buying moments (leaks, storms, home sales, insurance inspections), its own trust questions (licenses, insurance, warranties) and its own legal traps (deductible offers, claim-handling promises, license display). Specializing lets us plan around those from the first conversation.
How we work
- Plan before design. Every project starts with a written page plan you approve.
- Plain language. Pages explain your work the way you would explain it to a homeowner on the driveway.
- Your own proof. Real photos, genuine reviews with permission, verifiable license and warranty details.
- Careful with regulated topics. Insurance, financing and license wording is checked against the rules we can verify, and we flag anything that needs your attorney.
- Fast and accessible by default. Speed and accessibility checks are part of every build, not extras.
- You own everything. Domain, content and site files belong to you.
The full timeline is on the process page, and how we quote is on the pricing page.
What we will not do
Some things are easy to sell and bad for roofing companies. We do not do them.
- Promise first-page rankings or guaranteed lead numbers
- Write or buy fake reviews and testimonials
- Build dozens of near-identical city pages
- Add star ratings to structured data that are not backed by real reviews
- Write storm pages that offer to cover deductibles or handle claims
Who writes the guides
Our guides are written and checked by our editor, James Wilson. James is the pen name used by the editor of this site. Each guide links to the statutes, regulations, agency pages and platform help pages behind its claims, and labels secondary and commercial sources clearly. Our editorial policy explains how we research and correct content.
How we are funded
Raftervio earns money by designing and building websites for roofing contractors. The people behind the site have commercial interests in web design services. Our guides are free and are written to be useful whether or not you ever hire us, and they do not accept paid placements.
Where we work
We work remotely with roofing contractors across the United States. Calls, screen sharing and shared documents cover every stage of a project, so nobody needs to leave a job site for a meeting.
