How We Scope and Quote a Roofing Website

A fixed written quote after a short conversation, based on the pages and features you actually need. No surprise invoices.

Short answer

Raftervio gives a fixed written quote after a short scoping call. The price depends on how many pages you need, how much writing we do, any integrations such as a CRM, and whether we are redesigning an existing site. Every quote lists what is included, what is not, the timeline and the payment schedule. For market price ranges, see our roofing website cost guide.

Why there is no price list

Two roofing websites can look similar and cost very different amounts. One company needs eight pages and has all its photos and copy ready. Another needs thirty pages, a CRM connection, a financing page reviewed for compliance and content written from scratch. Publishing a single price would either overcharge the first or underquote the second.

Instead, we scope each project and give a fixed written quote. If you want a sense of what the wider market charges before talking to anyone, our roofing website cost guide summarizes published ranges and explains where they come from.

What every quote includes

  • A list of every page that will be built, by name
  • What content we write and what you supply
  • Design rounds included and how feedback works
  • Forms, call links and tracking that will be set up
  • Accessibility and speed checks before launch
  • Launch tasks, including redirects for redesigns
  • Timeline with milestones
  • Payment schedule
  • What is not included, written down so there is no confusion later

How payment works

A typical schedule splits the fee into stages tied to milestones, for example a deposit to start, a payment when the design is approved and the balance at launch. The exact split is set in your written quote. You see the full price before any work starts, and changes to scope are quoted separately before they are done.

Ongoing care, separately priced

After launch, some contractors want to handle the site themselves. Others prefer a monthly care plan. A care plan can cover:

  • Hosting, security updates and backups
  • Small content changes, such as new photos or updated license details
  • Monitoring for broken links, form failures and downtime
  • A short monthly check of Search Console for errors

Care plans are optional and quoted separately so you only pay for what you use. If you leave, you keep your domain, your content and a copy of the site.

What we will not charge for

  • Discovery calls and the written quote
  • Fixing our own mistakes after launch
  • Handing over your files, logins and domain if you move on

How to get a quote

  1. Fill in the free Brief Builder and keep the plan it produces, or send a short message through the contact page.
  2. We reply with any questions and, if useful, book a short call.
  3. You receive a written quote listing pages, features, timeline and price.
  4. If you go ahead, the process starts with a kickoff call.
Do you publish fixed packages?

No. Roofing sites vary too much for one price to be fair. We give a fixed written quote after scoping, so you know the total before work starts.

Can I pay in stages?

Yes. Quotes split payment into milestones, such as a start deposit, design approval and launch.

Are hosting and maintenance included?

They are optional and quoted separately, so you can host the site yourself or choose a care plan.

What happens if I need more pages later?

We quote new pages or features separately before doing them. Your original price does not change without your agreement.
